Portfolio of Works

Speaking through pigment and paint between a narrative of complex systems, dynamic movement, and imperfect storytelling is the combination that I call my framework sweet spot. From inception of idea to bringing the layers to fruition, my hope as a painter is to create a wall experience for the collector so that my paintings become part of the human experience for them and their guests. As a rogue colorist, I relish in the idea of using color in ways that are not academic but rather challenge the viewer to consider contrast, pairing, and saturation in unexpected ways. Many of my paintings are descriptive of imaginary ideas I create based around the Land of Ardithian energy, story, or place, and some are more indicative of studies and train of consciousness at the time.
